Excessive Sweating

Treatment for excessive sweating is with BOtulinum TOXin (Dysport) and is very effective, lasting for up to 9 months. One session is normally all that is required, allthough it is not a permanant cure for hyperhidrosis.

If you are being treated for excessive sweating, shave the area (e.g. your underarms) about 24 hours before your treatment. Do not apply antiperspirants or deodorants for 24 hours before or after treatment. Avoid exercise and hot foods or beverages 30 minutes before the injection.
