Laser Tattoo Removal
Tattoo removal in Auckland is now easier than ever...
Many regard their body as a canvas to be decorated and adorned, and the results can be beautiful. However over time, fashions, art, your reasons for having the tattoo, or what suits you, changes. You may only want to:
- fade a tattoo in order to cover with another design
- have the tattoo removed as completely as possible
Laser tattoo removal works by using short pulses of laser light, breaking up the tattoo pigment granules into pieces small enough to be removed by the body's immune system. Tattoo fading commences soon after treatment and will continue for many weeks.
Tattoo Removal Treatment
The number of treatments required and the effectiveness of treatment will depend on the size and colours of the tattoo. Laser can achieve 95% removal of black & red inks (sometimes more), but blues, greens & yellows are difficult to fade. This is because the laser does not target them as effectively.
Treatments will be scheduled for 6 – 8 weeks apart, giving time for the treated areas to heal and the tattoo to fade.
At your free consultation with an experienced registered nurse you will be given a quote for the cost of each treatment, and an estimate of the number of treatments required.
