Restylane Wrinkle Treatment
Face Care - Wrinkle Reduction
RESTYLANE is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to add volume and sculpt, and lift up wrinkles and folds. It is often called a 'filler', and can produce some amazing results.
Whether using Dysport or a filler, Dr. Elisabeth De Felice has a special touch, achieving lovely natural results. She tends to 'under-do' rather than 'over-do', and the products used are safe & effective, and have been used by many for many years.
Restylane - 'Filler' for deeper lines
Restylane consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body. Once in the skin, Restylane works by adding volume, but it Very slowly will become absorbed by the body reducing the effect.
Please inform the clinician if you have had any treatments of this sort within the last 12 months, as different products should not be used or mixed.
How long does the effect last?
The length of time the effect of a Restylane treatment lasts is very individual and depends on many factors, such as the structure of your skin, the area being treated, lifestyle and age.
Experience indicates that touch-up and follow-up treatments will add to that length of time. Most people choose to have further treatment within a year after the treatment of wrinkles and folds and within 6 months after a lip enhancement.
You can see the effect of Restylane treatments on the Restylane website.
Radiesse – for filling and sculpting
Radiesse works very similarly to Restylane but is “softer” and is longer lasting – “semipermanent”, so is used in carefully selected areas.
